    What to bring to my appointment at Virginia DMV

    1. A valid form of identification. This could be a driver’s license, passport, or state-issued ID card.
    2. Proof of residency in Virginia. This could be a utility bill, lease agreement, or mortgage statement.
    3. Your current vehicle registration, if you are renewing your registration.
    4. The appropriate fees for your transaction. Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, money order, and credit/debit card.
