    MVA Maryland appointments

With the new year just around the corner, it’s time to get those MVA appointments scheduled. The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administation is offering a new online appointment system that allows you to make appointments through an online portal. This is a great way to avoid having to stand in line at the MVA, and it can also be used to schedule raccoon inspection appointments. The system is available from January 1st through March 31st, so make sure to use it to schedule those important DMV appointments.

If you need to make an appointment with the Maryland MVA, there are a few steps you need to follow in order to get the information you need in a timely manner. First, you will need to visit the MVA website and locate the appointment request form. This form will provide you with all the necessary information about how to make an appointment, as well as a deadline by which you need to submit it.

Once you have filled out the online form, simply print it out and bring it with you to your next appointment. The DMVA staff will then be able to complete your request and provide you with the information you need in order to obtain your drivers license or title.

To make an appointment with the MVA, follow these steps:

    1. Obtain Comptroller’s Tax Certification:
      • Make an initial appointment with the Comptroller’s office to obtain a certification of tax filings for the preceding two years. This can be done online or by calling the taxpayer services hotline at 1-800-MD TAXES or 410-260-7980.
    2. Schedule an Appointment with the MVA:
      • Once you have the certification letter from the Comptroller’s office, schedule an appointment with the MVA. Walk-ins are not accepted, so it’s essential to make an appointment in advance2.
    3. Scheduling Your MVA Appointment:
      • Visit the MVA website to schedule your appointment. Select the county where you want to visit an MVA branch, choose your preferred branch, select an appointment time, and confirm your registration. The MVA guarantees that all appointments will be seen within 15 minutes of the scheduled time12.
    4. Documents Required:
      • Ensure you have the necessary documents such as proof of age and identity, Social Security proof, and residency documents when you visit the MVA for your appointment1.
    5. Appointment Reminder:
      • The MVA will provide a reminder call the day before your scheduled appointment to ensure you don’t miss your appointment1.
